Ünlü İtalyan Master okulu Domus Academy İngiltere’nin en iyi tasarım okullarından St Martin’s ile ortaklaşa yaz kariyer programları sunuyor. Programların ilk bölümü Londra’da 2. bölümü ise Milano’da gerçekleşiyor. Böylece öğrenciler tasarımın merkezi 2 şehirin en ünlü okullarında eğitim alma şansı yakalıyorlar. London is a vibrant, exciting city where people travel between cultural, entertainment and commercial environments seamlessly and constantly. With such a rich and diverse range of experiences it is essential for those planning these spaces to understand how they relate to the visitor, and to each another. On this course you will explore examples of spaces in London that host events, and investigate how and why people interact with them and what experiences they take away. You will develop analytical skills relating to the design of public spaces such as museums, shops and themed entertainment venues. You will have case studies to critique and hear from guest speakers who specialise in this exciting field of design. The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in people and places, including architects, curators, designers, writers, retailers and scenographers. Visits will be incorporated into practical projects based on real spaces in London, and individual projects can involve the medium of your choice, whether image, text or 3D design. Upon completion of the course you will see London from a new perspective and understand how to design a successful event.

During this course you will be introduced to the projects run by esterni, from the big events to the public installations, exploring all the steps from the birth of the concept to the development and realization of the project, and analyzing how all the departments (communication, marketing, press office, design and production, promotion) use to work. During the course, on the bases of some inputs given by esterni, you will be asked to develop a specific part of one of the project that will be scheduled for the summer by esterni.
