If you are new to the fashion industry and need to bridge the gap between education and professional practice, or if you have been working in the industry for a while and want to recharge your creativity, then this course will provide the perfect environment. The course in London is where you will work with tutors from the famous fashion department of Central Saint Martins in creating new designs, investigating trends, exploring London’s rich fashion culture and sharing your experiences with your peers. It will be an opportunity to spend time on a personal project related to your profession, designing a new collection, reviewing past work or simply returning to the studio to get creative. This course will concentrate on experimentation and your own creative process and be less concerned with finished drawings and flat designs. You will leave Central Saint Martins with a revitalised interest in your own style of designing that can be transferred back to your work environment, plus a new network of contacts for the future.

From wide research inputs to unique design outputs: to design fashion is a process of creative synthesis able to interpret and conjugate stimuli, sensations and references coming from different fields: art, product design, architecture and communication.
To design a collection means to be able to point out research themes that are ********al to the elaboration of design tools, supporting creativity. This course intends to develop a design methodology for the acquisition of conceptual and practical tools that – through the realisation of a collection – give uniqueness to the outcome of the work.
Brunella Caccaviello is director of Project Activity on the MA in Accessories Design course at Domus Academy. She has been Professor of Fashion at the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Politecnico of Milan and at the Academy of Arts of Brera. She has designed accessory collections for brands like Emilio Pucci, Alberta Ferretti, Mario Valentino, Ernesto Esposito and Lerre. She has collaborated with magazines like Vogue Pelle and Vogue Gioiello and with Pitti Immagine. In 2005 Brunella has founded Flos ad Florem brand, proposing luxury bijoux conceived with the spirit and the quality of an Haute Couture product.
